My mother is from Guatemala and my father is from Ecuador. I love both places but I have to admit that Ecuador has the best food (in my opinion). I grew up eating some of my dad's cooking which included Majado, Papas en Mani, Sopa de Pepino. He always talked about his favorite dish... Encebollado de Pescado!
