Just arrived back in the states after a week in Quito and environs. I was looking for a recipe for Locro de papas. How I wish I had seen your sight before my trip. I will definetly be tring some of your recipes. Great site
Mi mama es de Ecuador y yo he ido varias veces desde que era muy chica, pero a mi mama se le ha olvidado muchas recetas Ecuatorianas. Cuando encontre su sitio me alegre muchisimo! Ya he cocinado algunas recetas pero la favorita de mi familia y amigos es el caldo de bolas. Ahora estoy buscando una receta para lomo saltado. Fuimos a casa de una amiga ecuatoriana hace aƱos y ella nos preparo ese platillo y a mi esposo le encanto. Tiene o pondra esta receta aqui? Le agradezco lo que ha hecho con este sitio y le deseo que continue su exito!
I love your blog. I was born in the States but both my parents are from the Ecuador. Having grown up with that culture, it really makes me glad to see someone has a quality site dedicated to Ecuador!

Love your recipes! My family is from Ecuador and your site has helped me cook on my own here in the states. Only one suggestion….please put your recipe for Tamales. I have been researching for this recipe online and they compare it to humitas which we both know they are not the same. It would be so helpful!
